Scott R. Heil
joined Redwine and Sherrill in 1993. After graduating from
the University of Southern California in 1986 with a degree in
finance, he worked in the banking industry for two years before
returning to school and earning both his M.B.A., from the
University of California at Berkeley, and his law degree, from
Hastings College of the Law, in 1992. Scott's business
background enables him to provide real-world solutions to complex
legal problems
Scott is primary counsel for Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water
District, and regularly represents other large water districts as
well, in a wide variety of matters. He is well-versed in
public agency representation, including the legal aspects of daily
water district operations, public contracting, construction matters
and eminent domain. Scott also represents private property
owners in eminent domain cases, as well as practicing corporate and
contract law, general civil litigation, construction, and real
property law.
A lifelong resident of Riverside, Scott is active in community
service, including serving as president of the Riverside East
Rotary Club and chair of the Bryant Elementary School SITE
Council.
