Gil has
served as general counsel to several water districts over the past
25 years. His representation includes dealing with all legal
aspects of the day-to-day operations, prospective legislative
matters and inter-governmental matters. He is experienced in
the complexities of open and closed meeting requirements and
presiding at public hearings concerning matters associated with
water districts and public agencies.
Gil received his Bachelor degree from Woodbury University in
1972. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine
University in 1973, and was admitted to the California Bar in
1974. After graduation from law school, Gil worked for a
large law firm in Orange County, and then was a sole practitioner
until he joined Redwine and Sherrill in 1990. He is a member
of the Riverside and Orange County Bar Associations, State Bar of
California, and Attorneys Committee of the California Association
of Sanitation Agencies (CASA).
Gil is married. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing with his
family, and watching sports.
